    With a distinguished 25-year tenure as Oman's Minister of Energy and Minerals (1997-2022) and having consulted for OPEC, Dr. Al Rumhy is one of the most respected figures in the global energy sector. During his time as Minister, he also served as the Chairman of the Board for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) and was the visionary creator of the OQ Group, Oman's integrated global energy company. He was instrumental in pioneering Oman's downstream and LNG industries. Now in private practice, he brings this unparalleled ministerial experience and insight to Global Hydrocarbons, leading the firm's focus on sourcing energy and minerals.

He brings over 25 years of experience in managing complex logistics in international trade, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods for critical projects. Michael's expertise encompasses the full logistics lifecycle, including transportation management, inventory control, carrier negotiation, and regulatory compliance. Be brings a strong record of optimizing supply chain performance and delivering significant cost reductions in challenging operational environments. His leadership is vital in enhancing our operational efficiency and ensuring our projects are supported by a robust and cost-effective global logistics network

    With over 20 years experience advising across both the public and private sectors Jamie bring a wealth of international and industry specific legal experience to the team. Prior to joining, Jamie lived in Abu Dhabi and served for their government as the Senior Advisor to the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the government hub responsible for attracting and facilitating private sector investment into the Emirate and served as an Advisory Board Member for the Australia UAE Business Council. Formerly a KPMG Australia Partner and Director of Law Jamie he advised on many large-scale, multi-jurisdictional transactions. This background ensures the Global Hydrocarbons team manage their affair effectively.

    Jingwen (Chloe) is responsible for managing the firm's strategic relationships throughout Greater China. She serves as the primary liaison for our Chinese clients and partners, leveraging her deep understanding of the local business culture and regulatory landscape to facilitate seamless communication and transactions. Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, Chloe excels at bridging cultural and linguistic divides, ensuring the specific needs of our counterparts are understood and met with precision. Her expertise is integral to navigating the complexities of the Chinese energy sector and ensuring the success of our clients cross-border activities.
